I am Suzanne, it’s nice to meet you. I hope you will not only enjoy my blog and website but also leave comments or send an email from time to time.
I live in a small south-central Kentucky town with Bella, my amazing Labradoodle. I am retired and loving it. I highly recommend it if you are ready both financially and mentally.
I am a Blogger and free-lance writer. I have written a middle grade novel that is currently with an editor. I have an idea for a mystery novel that is still bouncing around in my head and getting eager to find it’s way to my keyboard.
I am a 20+ year runner. It started because I didn’t have enough time in my day for walking so I ran. Running evolved into something that I mostly love but occasionally sort of hate. The first thing on my retired To Do List was to run a full 26.2 mile marathon. I got to check that off in November of 2016. I’m getting slower now, but I am still out there about 3x per week.
I cook with reckless abandon in the kitchen where I seldom concoct the inedible and frequently come up with tasty new recipes. I also make some darn good homemade wine.
If you can appreciate a woman that has turned off her filter and now speaks her mind, has a rather dry sense of humor and has the ability to laugh at herself and situations but not at others, we should get along quite well.
Thanks for stopping in. I hope you will come back again real soon.
