While out walking today, first with just my dog, then later with a friend (we took opposite sides of the street) I felt compelled to snap pictures of some of beauty in my neighbor hood. As I took it all in, I was reminded that there is goodness and hope thriving in our world. I am sharing my pictures along with the lyrics and a video of one of the most loved hymns in the hopes of sending you some “good vibes”. Be well my friends.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog. I am loving being retired and finally having some time to explore things I have always wanted to do such as this blog. I want to share some thoughts with you that range from a little humorous to kind of profound. Let's face it, if you are like me and over 50 we know we are in the second half of our lives, or darn close. I am 56 and I don't think I will make it to 112! We know that life just gets faster so let's embrace all we have learned so far on the ride, give thanks for our blessings and drink in the joy of every day that we can! View all posts by Suzanne Pogue
